The ComNet CNFEVCNEOC for Vicon Surveyor Dome Cameras supports high-speed Ethernet transmission over standard 75ohm coaxial cable circuits, at a data rate of 100 Mbps, and transmission distances of up to 305 meters (1000 feet). This in-dome module is the perfect solution for upgrading an existing coaxial cable plant for use with Ethernet, when compared to the significant costs and nuisance of installing new network cabling. The unit is configured to operate in remote mode and is intended to be paired with a compatible Ethernet over coax extender operating in Master mode and in 100Mbps mode. True plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation and operation, and no adjustments are ever required.
